Fred Bussiere

Chief Homeminder

Arriving to Sarasota-Bradenton as a casual visitor a dozen years ago Fred Bussiere knew this is where he wanted to be.  He soon became a part-time resident and finally a full-time resident several years ago.

Fred has decades of experience in both the home building and real estate industries.  During the 1980's and 90's, he held a State of Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License and built more than 100 homes.   He also held a State of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor’s License for 100's of remodeling projects.

In the late 1990’s, he became a certified building inspector specializing in inspections of pre-sale real estate properties.  He has developed a strong understanding of residential maintenance and more importantly, the needs of an absent owner.

For the last several years, Fred has directed the maintenance for his homeowners' association, a private gated master-planned community, and has seen firsthand the need for knowledgeable, dependable and most importantly, a trustworthy home minding service.

Sandy Bussiere

Partner - Operations

Sandy Bussiere successfully owned and operated some of most known restaurants north of Boston before moving to Sarasota in the mid-2000s.  Sandy was a hands on owner working 7 days a week 365 days a year putting her finishing touches on every aspect of the business.  From recording her own radio ads, to fighting city hall for building permits Sandy always made sure the business moved forward.  With her customer first mentality Sandy was well known for her dedication to quality.

For many years Sandy spent half the year in New England and the other in Sarasota and was on the hiring side of home watching services so she knows what it is like trying to find someone to trust watching her home.

Using her past home watching experiences, years of operational expertise and hospitality acumen Sandy handles the day to day operations of Homeminder Services.  Working side by side with Fred, Sandy is crossing the T's and dotting the I's to make sure your experience with Homeminder Services is second to none.

Sandy is the driving force behind our very successful "No Contracts Ever" policy.  She has instilled the mindset that if we provide the best service at a fair price we will win your business over and over.

Gordon Lear

Managing Partner

Gordon Lear, a resident of Sarasota since 1996, spent nearly 20 years in the technology space leading software and marketing companies.  As an Executive Officer and coming from a family of serial entrepreneurs, Gordon partnered with Fred and Sandy to make sure Homeminders stays on the cutting edge of technology, customer services, strategic partnerships.

Gordon's professional background includes Business Development, Customer Service, Operations, and several technical areas.  He also owns and operates Gordon Lear LLC an executive technology consulting practice.

Gordon is an active participant in the Sarasota community.  He sat on the Board of Directors for the Sarasota YMCA Evelyn Sadlier Jones Branch and served four years on his Homeowners' Association Board of Directors, and was Chairman of the Deed Restrictions Committee.  He us also a live time member of CCA and a strong supporter of Captains for Clean Water.
